What a pity that it is marred with its political unstability and chaos. The photo illustrates the scenic ancient site at Sigiriya, which is one of my favourite site in Sri Lanka.
I bought this stone carving of the God figurine from a tout when waiting to board the bus. Was told that it is replicate from the same relief in the Sigiriya.
